This subject is really interesting to me, because everyone who knows about it seems to have an opinion on it. The staff here have all talked about this, and I wanted to end the discussion here with everyone's point of view on this subject.
My opinion on 2012 is that yes, something will happen. What it is, I'm not sure, but I'd be prepared for the worst. All I know is that something great will happen on December 21st, 2012. Kelpie's opinion on this makes me wonder, I'll let her explain here, but in my opinion, Kelpie will believe anything that sounds mysterious and exciting.
As for the rest of the world, you can believe what you believe, as long as you know that something will happen. Probably something dealing with change, what do you think?

Kelpie's opinion on this makes me wonder, I'll let her explain here, but in my opinion, Kelpie will believe anything that sounds mysterious and exciting. Okay, I'll admit it, I'd like to believe that strange things will happen, but I can never be too sure. People tend to dismiss things like 2012 because they don't want to believe it, whatever, they don't even know what will happen. My opinion is that, if it wasn't important, why are so many people talking about it? Is it just interesting or is there something you want me to read between the lines? Most of my friends and family don't think anything will happen, but I secretly wonder if they're as interested as I am. I like strange things, and with everything that has happened to the world, is it not possible? As what I believe will happen, I actually want it to be a surprise, and when it happens, I can all point and laugh at people saying, "I told you so!" But by then I'll be out of school and probably in the workplace.

My opinion is similar to Tsukiyomi's, I'm not sure what will happen, but I need to be prepared for the worst. If you want to know what I've heard, it's a bunch of crazy things, because a lot of people have told me that December 21st, 2012 will be when Jesus comes down to take the people who have been faithful to him up to heaven.
Which is bullshi. I say this because, would it be the same for other religions? Why just the Christian faith? Tell me why you think you're religion is the correct one. Just because the bible says so, doesn't mean that anything will happen in 2012. Just goes to show you how much you can think for yourself.
Other things I have heard is that the world will collapse, and to that I say "WHAT..." Are we too heavy? Okay, the world may collapse, but the planet certainly won't.

I will turn 18 (adult, adult~ 8DDDD) in 2012. In December 21st 2012 i probably will meet my best friends, laugh with them, give presents for Christmas, and go out wit them. Nothing big will happen. Apocalypse isn't possible so soon. Life will go on for millions and millions of years, until the sun's expansion happens. There is nothing religious attached to apocalypse. Sun will be 'alive' for next..... what was it, 57 million years. Then it starts dying. It expansions into a red giant and probably swallows the inner planets. Earth with them. It's clear science, astronomy. You probably know that? The death of sun is teached in 5th grade. In primary school.
Maybe you noticed, i don't believe in god in any way, or in Jesus, no no. I just can't believe the stuff what's written in bible, and that is about the 2012 too.

Two's right, and after re-reading this, everyone sounds so passionate. Rawkie, not many of us here at Grubber believe in a god, but we do believe in a higher power. (Off-topic: These figures we believe in are watching us, and aren't responsible for "miracles" or whatever) We're not big on religion either.
Anyways, I think we should just wait and see what happens. I mean, isn't is possible for something to happen? Look at everything that's happened, the water has risen and froze over, causing an ice age, the glaciers have pushed aside creating the continents we see today. This shows us that we're definitely not in control, and I don't want the government to get involved, I just want nature to be nature. If the polar bears go, then so be it.
It's called natural selection, it happens all the time.
To sum everything up, just let the world be the world, it does what it needs to. If something happens, it'll happen, if nothing happens, whoops my bad lol
